Statement of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) on the termination of Digital Audio Broadcasting services

The Chief Executive in Council decided today (28th March) that the Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) services in Hong Kong should be discontinued and the DAB services provided by RTHK be terminated within six months, or as soon as practicable thereafter. In this connection, RTHK will make adjustment accordingly. There will be integration of DAB programmes into the existing analogue radio channels.
